Spectrum

Spectrum is a light and shadow sculpture currently in development. The outer structure forms a camera obscura with a single orifice in the ceiling covered by a mirror. Arranged around the perimeter are additional mirrors enabling users to redirect sunlight towards the central mirror.

As light enters the structure it is focused through a lens and then passes through a large acrylic prism. Inside, a giant spectrum is painted on the ground.
